Chicken in Creamy Lemon Sauce

Juicy chicken in a creamy, lemon sauce, perfect for a quick dinner. Sprinkled with fresh lemon and parsley, served with mashed potatoes.

Chicken in Creamy Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 400gchicken breast fillet
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1teaspoonoregano
  • 0.5teaspoongranulated garlic
  • 1fresh garlic clove
  • 1egg
  • 0.5cupgrated parmesan cheese
  • 1tablespoonflour
  • 2tablespoonsbutter
  • 1tablespoonolive oil
  • 1lemon
  • 0.25cupbroth
  • 0.5cupsweet cream 30% (from carton)
  • fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken fillets and cut them lengthwise into 2 thinner fillets, then separate them into smaller fillets.
  2. Pound with a meat mallet to the same thickness.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic, then coat in beaten egg, and finally in a mixture of parmesan cheese and flour.
  4. Heat a large skillet, add butter and olive oil.
  5. Add the poultry fillets and fry for about 3 minutes per side.
  6. Cut 3 lemon slices for decoration, squeeze the juice from the rest.
  7. Pour the lemon juice onto the skillet with the chicken, then add the broth and cook for half a minute.
  8. Add the cream, turn the fillets over to the other side and cook for another half a minute.
  9. Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley and decorate with lemon slices.
